Artist statement
My artistic practice focuses on reflecting on temporality, legacy, as well as exploring boundaries. Through a multidisciplinary approach, I intersect different layers – visual,
historical, scientific – to construct narratives that explore how the past continues to shape the present. I use archival materials, photographs, historical images, documents, and found objects to build visual structures that create a dialogue between individual and collective memory. My work stems from the urgency to give form to memory, not only as an individual recollection but as a collective layering of events and silences. The artistic act becomes an attempt to give voice to what has been removed, forgotten, or silenced, but which continues to reemerge in subsequent generations.
